Actors Boy2 Quizon and Vandolph shared how important their latest film, Home Along Da Riles: Da Reunion, is not only for the relatives of the late Comedy King Dolphy, but also for the rest of the cast. The two Quizon descendants shared their thoughts and opinions in the latest episode of PUSH It.

Boy2 maintained that this film isn’t a remake of the series but rather a continuation of what happened to the Cosme family several years later.

“Yun yung totoong feeling ng reunion. Hindi namin siya ginawa para i-remake. This is, like, a continuation. Yung wala nang… Ginawa namin yung tribute for them, and for everyone who made it special dun sa movie… I mean, sa Home Along Da Riles.

Vandolph then shared how this is for the people who grew up watching Home Along Da Riles on ABS-CBN in the past, expressing their gratitude for their loved ones who won’t be able to watch the reunion film as well.

When asked by PUSH ABS-CBN what the late Dolphy would say if he could watch the film, the two agreed he would be proud of his legacy, cemented in the Philippine entertainment industry.

Thank you at hanggang ngayon, tinutuloy niyo yung… Dahil sa ginagawa niyo, naalala ako.' … It took us two and a half years and I’m quite sure sasabihin niya, 'Proud na proud ako sa inyo.' ‘Di ba?” Boy2 maintained.

Home Along Da Riles: Da Reunion is now showing in cinemas nationwide.
