Drag queen J Quinn could not hide her excitement about two of her fellow “Nectar OG” sisters compete in the fourth season of Drag Race Philippines.
In an exclusive interview with PUSH ABS-CBN during the 39th Awit Awards, J Quinn shared how happy she is to finally see Andy Crocker and Taylor Sheesh join the local drag competition.
“Sobrang excited ako from Season 4 kasi two of my Drag Sisters, from Nectar from way before, si Andy Crocker atsaka si Taylor Sheesh, sa wakas. Ayon lang yung hinihintay namin na makapasok para (makumpleto) yung OG Nectar (queens),” the drag queen expressed.
Without giving away any details about the upcoming season, J Quinn teased fans about what they can expect from Taylor.
“Watch out for them lalo na si Taylor Sheesh. Mahiyain lang siya sa umpisa pero grabe siya. And siyempre everyone of them din,” she added.
Aside from her fellow Nectar queens, J Quinn also shared her excitement over the other contestants, particularly her current favorite.
“Sobrang favorite ko ngayon, beside my bias ay sila Katana. Sila yung favorites ko ngayon,” she expressed.
With a high anticipation for Drag Race Philippines Season 4, J Quinn shared what is her prediction on who will take home the crown.
“Honestly, si Taylor Sheesh. I think she got it. She got under the bag. Siya pinakamayaman bago pumasok sa Drag Race kasi nga booked and busy like Market Market, kung saan-saan, ibang bansa. Ganda ng mga dala niya! I helped with her hair!” she expressed.
Drag Race Philippines Season 4 streams every Friday on WOW Presents Plus worldwide. Paolo “Mama Pao” Ballesteros will return as the host.
The new season will feature 12 queens, with many representing different regional drag communities in the Philippines. They are Bhorj Gum, Andy Crocker, Bombalicious Eklaver, Ghulli Ghush, Katana, Dixxxy Decoy, Manza, Maureen Biology, Merckz, Misua, Taylor Sheesh, and Valeria Kurihara.
The previous seasons crowned Precious Paula Nicole, Captivating Katkat, and Maxie Andreison as winners. The franchise also produced Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale, where Brigiding emerged as the winner.
Meanwhile, J Quinn competed in the third season of the local franchise, where she lasted five episodes.
Looking back on her own Drag Race Philippines journey, J Quinn previously shared the lessons she learned from the competition.
"My biggest lesson, watching everything in full, is not to yap so much. Don't talk when it's not needed like, 'girl, shut up, tone it down a little,'" she said.

More than anything, J Quinn hopes fans remember her creative side.
"I hope they remember the very on-brand runways that I've given, I hope they remember the verse that I've written on 'Dapat Pakak.' That is basically my proudest moment, the very Asian-esque branding," she said.
"What I don't want them to remember is me yapping my mouth like, don't remember that. Just remember the runways, me being cute, me writing lyrics."
