MANILA — Filipino singer-songwriter Ice Seguerra has released the music video for his latest single "Shelter of the Broken," a moving tribute to those silently battling depression.

Inspired by his own mental health journey and recent personal loss, Seguerra hopes the video sparks compassion and reminds viewers of the healing power of kindness.

In his social media post over the weekend, Seguerra said his music video aims to share stories of people struggling from depression who still choose not to give up.

"Hindi biro ang depression. Iba’t ibang mukha at wala itong pinipili. Minsan, kahit gaano pa tayo katapang, may mga panahong sobrang bigat ng pakiramdam at minsan parang wala na tayong matatakbuhan," he wrote.

"For our music video, we wanted to shine light on the different stories of people who, despite going through difficult things in their lives, still choose to hold on to life, kahit minsan ay mas madaling bumitaw," he added.

"Sana, through this music video, we will all realize the power of kindness and how it can help those in the dark feel that they are not alone, at least for one moment. I hope we can all be a shelter to people who need us the most," Seguerra wrote.
