The wait is over: Gary V. opens ‘Back at The Museum’ tonight. The 10-show October run kicks off as Valenciano celebrates music, faith, purpose, and four decades of Manila Genesis.

TONIGHT, October 1, the bright lights go up, that all-too familiar music begins, and Mr. Pure Energy returns home.

Gary Valenciano officially jumspstarts his much-awaited Back at The Museum concert series tonight at the Music Museum, launching 10 intimate nights that will bring his fans closer to his music, stories, faith, and seemingly-patented energy of one of the Philippines' most everlasting pop-culture icons.

And Gary is more than willing, ready and able.

“But really, I am more than excited than anything else to go on that stage again,” Valenciano says as he makes his comeback to a venue that has figured prominently throughout his amazing legacy.

Tonight also marks another significant achievement, as having already performed 102 shows at the Museum before this series, Gary adds another chapter to a relationship with the venue that spans 40 years.

After the massive scale of his six-show Pure Energy: One Last Time concert series and subsequent global concert tours in Australia, New Zealand, the UK, and the United States, Gary is embracing something closer, warmer, and more personal.

“I think this is one of the most intimate venues we have in the Philippines today, and I think it’s a perfect venue for a concept such as this,” says the iconic artist.

For Valenciano, that intimacy means seeing faces, hearing reactions, and making a direct connection with the audience.

“It runs in my blood to step out on a stage to hopefully not just entertain, but to inspire, to encourage,” he shares.

That sense of purpose makes Back at the Museum especially profound as one of the biggest highlights of the 40th anniversary of Manila Genesis Entertainment and Management Inc., the company that has nurtured Mr. Pure Energy through years of music, TV, films, concerts, world tours, and constant reinvention.

And this year, with international company iHeart, he launched his first experience with podcasting with his very own Unshaken with Gary V [Stories of Grit and Grace].

In fact, this October 5, he has a very important guest that will be revealed this week.

For Manila Genesis president Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano, “Reaching four decades is above all a miracle and reason for overflowing gratitude to everyone who have stood by us since 1986, and most of all we are so grateful to God for all these years,” she bares.

Singer-songwriter Kakie, also known as Frankie Pangilinan, who has just launched a new album joins her Tito Gary, having her own set to open the show for all shows except October 8 and 22 where Alyssa Quijano is set to perform as opening act.

Tonight, a new chapter begins. Ten nights, all Thursdays and Saturdays of October.  One legendary performer. Over four decades of music, memories, faith, and purpose.  The songs, the stories. The movement. The inspiration. And that unmistakable Pure Energy.

Gary V: Back at the Museum opens tonight, October 1, and continues on October 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29 and 31 at the Music Museum.  Tickets are priced at ₱10,000, ₱7,500, ₱5,000, ₱3,000 and ₱1,500.
