MANILA — The year 2025 marked a remarkable year for SB19 - from new releases, history-making live shows and concerts, music videos and collaboration - and what better way to encapsulate all that with a photobook - the ‘Wakas at Simula’ visual journey book.
SB19 worked with Summit Books in the production of this book that chronicles their journey through a defining era of their career.
With never before seen off-stage photos and moments, to unforgettable events infront of their global audience, this book is a celebration of the memories that made up ‘Wakas at Simula’ and what it took for the group to get there. A’tin will find 96 pages of stunning, full-color photographs, divided across ten chapters that tell a distinctive story in their artistic process.
During the book launch, the boys can’t help but expressed their excitement seeing the photos for the very first time.
Stell said, “Parang ang saya lang niyang i-display at balik-balikan. Parang pag inisip mo yung ‘Wakas at Simula’, at ‘Simula at Wakas’, parang dumaan lang siya. Kasi ang daming nangyari. Pero once you open the book, check yung photos at yung nakasulat doon parang binabalik ka niya talaga sa mga panahon na nangyari yun, yung timestamp, maaalala mo na ‘oo nga yung time na to, sobrang kinakabahan ako’.”
“And I think ito yung isa sa mga niloo-look forward ko pag dumating na ko sa ‘senior’ stage”, he added.
Meanwhile, Justin shared that their fans played an important role in celebrating and making these milestones.
“Very happy kasi bawat bagong journey or bagong mga ganap na naeexperience namin as SB19, kasama namin sila. And bawat bago, nagkaroon na kami ng movie, nagkaroon na kami ng concert, nakapag perform kami sa ibang bansa, and now we have a book. Kasama namin sila, at lalo silang dumarami. And we’re very thankful kasi hindi nila kami iniiwan.”
