Pampanga-based OPM band Healy After Dark is set to hold a show to raise donations for fellow Kapampangans affected by recent severe flooding brought by bad weather.
The gig titled "A Healy After Dark Free Show" will be held at Soda Monkey in Timog, Quezon City on October 2.
The event comes after Healy After Dark missed a scheduled performance in September.
The four-piece band, which commands 1.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, was supposed to perform at an event alongside fellow OPM acts nicole and Chrstn, but was unable to make it to the venue after getting stranded along a flooded stretch of the North Luzon Expressway.
Large parts of the country, particularly Luzon, have experienced flooding in previous months due to heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon or habagat.
Wanting to make it up to fans, Healy After Dark has decided to mount a free show that will also serve as a donation drive for flood-affected communities in Pampanga, with Angat Buhay Pampanga as its beneficiary.
Fans who wish to support the relief efforts may bring their donations to the show.
Mint Magic, Shane G, and Nicole will also perform at the gig as guests.
Healy After Dark is composed of Oyo Velasco on vocals and guitars, Daniel Lozano on lead guitars, Alvin Santiago on bass, and Zach Gonzales on drums.
The band, which also recently celebrated its sixth anniversary, is known for songs such as "Isip," "Multo" and "ikaw."
