Miley Cyrus took to social media to celebrate a major milestone for her latest album, Bass Persuades, after it debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Reflecting on the achievement, Miley wrote on her Instagram page: "Bass Persuades being #1 transcends a win. This process has been some of the best times for me. Everyone involved made it possible and more importantly fun and memorable."
Miley also expressed her gratitude to everyone who supported the record.
"Thank you Atlantic, my team, and everyone who walks beside me with conviction. I love you. To the fans you make my world go round. Making music for you brings immeasurable joy to my life. Forever," she said.
Fans online were quick to react to Miley's post.
"So proud of you!! Smilers rise up," one fan wrote.
"THE QUEEEEN IS BAAACK!!!! CONGRATS MILEY!!!!! U DESERVED!!!!!! WE LOVE U FOREVER," another fan said.
The achievement marks Miley's first Billboard 200 chart-topper in more than a decade.
Billboard reported that Bass Persuades opened with 61,000 equivalent album units in the United States for the week ending September 24, based on data from Luminate.
Miley released the album on September 18.
In an Instagram post on release day, the pop star opened up about the personal journey that shaped the album, describing it as a reflection of the different chapters she has experienced throughout her career.

"This album happened fast, but that’s been my life for 20 years. Once I started wishing to land a role that would make LA my home, it’s been nonstop. This album is a reflection of everywhere I’ve been along the way and the peace that came with starting to slow it all down," she said.
Miley also expressed her appreciation to fans for celebrating the release with her.
"Thank you for celebrating this release with me. It’s a special record and it’s bliss to share with you. Love always," she wrote.
