In "Kapamilya Deal or No Deal," players definitely feel the thrill of fighting for their chosen briefcase all the way to the end. But sometimes, you just have to be practical and know when a risk is worth taking, or sometimes, you really don't have much of a choice. These Lucky Stars and guest players called it a "deal" and took the Banker's offer.
What do you do when the money board is down to ₱5, ₱10, and ₱200? Jeremy G just had fun with it. Faced with a ₱55 offer from the Banker, he jokingly called it the hardest decision of his life before hitting the red buzzer, which signaled that he was taking the deal. Jeremy joked that ₱55 could buy him a spaghetti meal anyway, so all was good. As it turned out, though, his chosen briefcase had ₱200.
Christine Samson went through the same experience when only ₱200 and ₱300 were left on the money board. So, with the Banker offering her ₱250, Christine decided to take the deal.
Kim Rodriguez found herself at a crossroads with ₱1 million still up for grabs, but the other possibilities were a very far cry at just ₱10 and ₱25. In the end, Kim chose to be practical and accepted Banker’s money amounting to ₱170,500, knowing it would already go a long way for the children she helps.
Vilma Santos and Jessy Mendiola had the same practical mindset, especially with a charity counting on their winnings. Instead of taking another risk, they 'said deal' to the Banker’s ₱81,000 offer, which they pooled with their own contributions and host Luis Manzano’s to come up with total of ₱300,000 for their chosen foundation.
Red Ollero took home a pretty hefty amount when he sold his briefcase to the Banker for ₱233,000. The ₱1 million was still in play, but with ₱200 and ₱400 also lurking on the money board, that was one serious gamble and we get why he took the sure money.
Luis jokingly got a little emotional when Erik Fructuoso accepted the Banker’s ₱101 bid. There wasn’t much left to fight for anyway, with ₱500 already the highest amount remaining on the money board.
Mother knows best, indeed. Mommy Ganda got the final say in her game with son Lester Aguinaldo when she decided to take the ₱22,069 dangled by the Banker. Lester gladly let his mom make the call because her happiness was all that mattered to him.
Now this was a good deal. Asia Yoona chose to walk away with the ₱109,999 offer rather than play the odds between a tempting ₱250,000 and a painful ₱50. She made the right choice because her chosen briefcase only had ₱50.
