An emotional flashback shows that Bea (Maja Salvador) actually worked at a gadget store, frequently asking to get a salary advance from her employer. Even though she instantly received the money, her boss strictly reminded her that this would be the last time he would allow it since he’s losing money already.
The apologetic Bea went on to explain that her recuperating mother would often return to the hospital. Her boss then suggested that it would be better for them to return to the province, but Bea clarified that their land was already sold, and the money was spent on her mother’s hospital bills. She also refused to speak when her boss asked about her absent father.
One particular day, Bea was heading to the mall when she noticed her father leaving the building with his new family. Momentarily shocked, Bea suffered an impact from the opening glass door before rushing behind her father’s moving car, with young Billy (Althea Ruedas) and Olive (Iza Calzado) inside.
Failing to catch up with the vehicle, Bea could only cry by herself.
