And as if losing the million wasn’t painful enough, Banker’s next offer dropped all the way to ₱222, with only ₱500 left as the highest amount on the money board.
Vilma Santos and Jessy Mendiola played as a tandem, yet Jessy carried more guilt and regret after choosing briefcase number 11, which revealed the dreaded ₱1 million. But “Momski” Vilma assured her that it was okay and joked that Luis Manzano could just replace the million they lost.
For the second time on this Toplist, Kolette was assigned to the ₱1-million briefcase again, during Rave Victoria’s game. Rave’s reaction when Kolette opened it was a defeated “Oh!” as he bowed his head.
“Utang na loob, lower please,” Negi pleaded with Christine Samson when she decided to open the latter’s briefcase. But there was nothing either of them could do when the million-peso prize appeared. A stunned Negi could only ask, “Bakit?!”
Arizona Brandy’s only reason for wanting to eliminate Pepay from her choices for the second case she opened in the entire game was, “Hindi siya maganda.” Well, the result didn’t turn out pretty either. “Barang pala ’to si Pepay, eh,” Arizona joked.
They say mothers know best, but AC Bonifacio might have begged to differ when the briefcase picked by her mom, who was watching from the audience, revealed none other than the ₱1 million. Realizing what she had done to her daughter’s game, Mommy hilariously offered one solution, “Alis na lang ako.”
Inah Evans didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when the briefcase picked by her rumored special someone, Sean, had the ₱1 million inside. After screaming her heart out, Inah could only exclaim, “Lintik na pag-ibig!”
With only four cases left, both ₱500,000 and ₱1 million were still alive on Migs Bustos’ money board. That made Emilio Daez a dangerous pick. Migs went silent after Emilio opened his briefcase, as if bad luck had just slapped him in the face.
On the contrary, the ₱1 million showed up early in Angeline Quinto’s game. She even called Abdul and Marsy “my friends” before they opened the briefcase containing the million, leaving Angeline stunned into silence. All she could say afterward was, “Grabe naman!”
