MANILA — Robinsons Land Corp. is expanding its partnership with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) through initiatives focused on community spaces and sustainable mobility.
The company recently formalized an agreement with the MMDA for the development of a Senior Citizens’ Park and Pet Park at Plaza Azul in Pandacan, Manila, while also supporting the MMDA’s revived Love Bus service through the donation of electric buses.
At Plaza Azul, Robinsons Land provided park installations and pet amenities designed to create a shared recreational space for senior citizens, pet owners and their pets. The facility is intended to provide residents and families with a place to gather, socialize and engage in activities promoting health and well-being.

The initiative is also part of Robinsons Land’s pet advocacy program, which promotes responsible pet ownership and supports pet adoption and animal welfare efforts in partnership with local governments and organizations.
Meanwhile, Robinsons Land has donated buses to support the MMDA’s Love Bus service, which provides free rides along a route connecting Robinsons Galleria, Ortigas Avenue, C5 and Bridgetowne, among other key areas.

Six electric buses, each with a capacity of 36 passengers, operate daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. The service is intended to provide commuters with a free alternative to private vehicles and paid transport while reducing tailpipe emissions.
The initiative revives the Love Bus, a service familiar to earlier generations of Metro Manila commuters, with the new fleet using electric buses.
The route serves residents, workers and visitors in communities along the corridor, with the MMDA, local governments and private-sector partners working together to provide the service.
