Philippine bet Red Spiegelman was among the top performers in the preliminary competition of Miss International Queen 2026, showcasing her strides in the swimsuit and evening gown segments before delivering a speech centered on the meaning “home.”

Spiegelman was named alongside Thailand’s Theerachaya Pimkitidaj, France’s Ines Mess, and Japan’s Saki Iwai as the four top performers in the preliminary competition.
Thailand’s Theerachaya was eventually named Best Performer, earning an automatic spot in the Top 12 ahead of the pageant’s coronation night on Saturday, September 19.
Spiegelman took the stage in a sultry swimsuit and in an evening gown created by designer Chico Estiva.

The champagne-silver gown featured an intricate crystal detailing, sheer cutouts, and a figure-hugging silhouette, while dramatic feathered accents added movement to her theatrical presentation.
But it was Spiegelman’s message during the speech round that gave her preliminary performance its central theme.
“Not everyone grows up with a loving family, but I’ve also learned that home is not always the place where we came from,” she said.
For Spiegelman, home can also be found in the people who make others feel seen, heard, and accepted. She also hopes that people “become that home for someone else.”
She reflected on how the people who make us feel seen and valued can shape who we become — and how experiencing that kind of humanity can inspire people to extend it to others.
“And when we experience that kind of humanity, we give it to others,” before ending her speech with a call to create spaces where people can feel safe and accepted.
“If home shapes us, then let us become the kind of home the world needs.”
The preliminary competition was held on September 17 at Tiffany’s Show Pattaya Theatre in Thailand.
Spiegelman is vying to succeed reigning Miss International Queen Midori Monet of the United States, and to bring the Philippines its fourth title in the pageant.
