MANILA — Philippine fintech giant Mynt, the operator of GCash, has launched a real-time initial public offering (IPO) allocation feature on Tuesday, allowing retail investors to subscribe to its stock debut directly through the GCash app.
Filipinos registered on GStocks PH—powered by AB Capital Securities Inc—can easily subscribe to Mynt’s IPO with a minimum order of 100 shares priced at P60.60 per share, with no maximum limit, subject to availability, the company said.
The offer period runs from October 6 to 12, 2026, ahead of the company's listing on the Philippine Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "GCASH". The base offer size of approximately P53.0 billion is projected to reach P60.9 billion upon full exercise of the overallotment option, making it the largest IPO in Philippine history.
As an exclusive benefit, users placing orders on October 6 and 7 receive a guaranteed allocation for their first 100 shares, with order fulfillment beginning October 8, Mynt said.
"We built this feature to expand market access and remove friction in investing," said Winsley Bangit, Group Head of New Business at Mynt.
The Securities and Exchange Commission declared the IPO effective on October 5. The offer has already attracted strong demand from over 20 global institutional cornerstone investors, including BlackRock, GIC, the International Finance Corporation, and BPI Asset Management.
