Photo courtesy of Philippine Olympic Committee (POC)-Media Pool.The Philippines’ Tenny Madis and Stefi Aludo advanced to the next round of the tennis women’s doubles of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games after defeating Indonesia’s Anjali Junarto and Meydiana Reinnamah, 6-3, 7-6 (4), on Monday at the Higashiyama Park Tennis Center in Japan.
It was a much-welcomed win for the Philippines, as Madis had previously concluded her singles campaign on Sunday after succumbing to Japan’s Himeno Sakatsume, 1-6, 0-6.
