MANILA — Expanding her horizons as an artist, TikTok sensation Lottie Bie marked the beginning of her music journey on Friday with debut single "Seryoso".
Known for her satirical videos, funny and "alternate reality" skits online, Lottie wrote the track to express that she is more than just her humor.
"I wanted to say, ‘Hey, I write songs, and I like to sing, so here’s a more serious side of me,'" she said.
Lottie also emphasized that the general public could relate to "Seryoso" as most people once struggled to be taken seriously — especially in terms of love.
"For this first single, I wanted it to be as raw and authentic as possible. I want my real voice to shine through so everyone can feel the frustration of wanting to be taken seriously," the vocalist added.
Juggling her roles as a social media personality, director, and now a singer is not easy; but Lottie says she has a strong support system from which she is totally grateful for.
The new singer eyes that her track will be a go-to anthem for the young generation who also feels frustration and confusion when being in love.
"Seryoso" is now out on major streaming platforms.
