Even with a home filled with over a dozen cats already, actor Joseph Marco continues to show just how big a heart he has for animals as he chose to celebrate his 37th birthday last October 4 surrounded by the company of his loved ones and the rescued cats at The Cat House in General Trias, Cavite. Accompanying the actor were members of his fans club Josephalics. In his latest reel, Joseph is seen bringing in boxes of donations of pet food and cleaning supplies for the shelter, as well as taking a tour and interacting with the rescued animals.
In his birthday post, Joseph wrote, “Life has become beautifully simple. There was a time when every birthday celebration had to be grand: nights out, road trips, wild adventures and endless plans. But as the years passed I came to understand what truly makes me happy. Today, my heart feels fullest in the quiet company of my loved ones and of course my furry companions. Life has a gentle way of guiding us back to what’s essential. Simplicity isn’t just a lifestyle; it’s a blessing.”
After the experience, the 37-year-old actor also thanked everyone who helped make his special day unforgettable this year. He wrote, “I’m happier now, more secure and embraced by a peace I never knew before. This serenity, born from choosing what truly matters, finally feels like home. Huge thanks to #TheCatHouse for welcoming us into your space and letting us mingle and cuddle with your adorable furry babies 🐾❤️ Endless gratitude to my @josephaholics family for making this possible and for your unwavering love and support since day one. Just last July, Joseph shared with his social media followers how he unexpectedly ended up rescuing tiny kitten he encountered on the streets. “I wasn’t planning on adopting any more. My hands are already full. But yesterday, on my way home in the rain, I saw this tiny kitten, lost and all alone. And in that moment, I knew. When fate places a little soul in your path like that, you don’t turn away. So here we are. Welcome home, little angel. I’m so glad you found me,” he wrote.

Last month, the talented actor also shared more happy encounters with puspins, one of whom he found on the set of his current project, I Love You Since 1982. In the reel, he is shown napping with the furbaby inside his vehicle. He wrote, “A silent battle stirs in me every time I see a stray, should I rescue, even if I already have too many? Yet somehow, the heart just knows when it’s time to act.”
Known now not just to his fans, but to the online community as well, Joseph is a certified loving fur dad not just to his own pets, but to strays he encounters on the street as well.
He also shared a reel of him enjoying a simple evening meal along with some hungry stray puspins outside along with the caption, he wrote, “Ended my workday with dinner at a gas station and the sweetest company, three precious fur babies who filled my heart.”
