Actress-producer Liza Diño-Seguerra is a proud wife to her partner Ice Seguerra, who was recently honored as one of the FAMAS Child Icons of Philippine Cinema during the 73rd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences (FAMAS) Awards held on Friday, August 22.

On her social media page, Liza penned a heartfelt message to Ice, celebrating yet another milestone in his career ahead of his upcoming concert.
“Some careers last years, yours has lasted generations. 38 years in the industry — still active, still evolving, still finding new audiences… and yes, still very much loved,” Liza wrote.
She shared how she personally witnessed Ice’s hard work and dedication throughout his career.
“Longevity is no easy feat, but I’ve seen firsthand your hard work and tireless dedication to your craft,” she added.
Liza also highlighted Ice’s natural artistry, which has shone since his early years in showbiz.
“You’ve always said you treat this career as a job — kasi pinanganak ka sa mundong ito na nagtatrabaho na. But your natural talent has allowed you to grow, adapt, and find artistry in everything you do. The craft is in you.” she expressed.
Liza went on: “Amara and I are sobrang proud sa’yo, love. From Child Icon to OPM Icon at 42, you’ve built a career that’s rare and inspiring.”
For Liza, the award was not just a recognition of Ice’s professional achievements but also of the enduring love and support he continues to receive.
“This award isn’t just validation of all the work you’ve put in — it’s also a testament to the love from people who, hanggang ngayon, are still here supporting you every step of the way,” she said. “I know Mommy and Daddy are up there, proud na proud din sa’yo. What a full-circle journey.”
She ended her message with a touching tribute, saying, “And the best part? You never compromised who you are. Minahal ka ng tao as Aiza, through every chapter, at hanggang ngayon — just Being ICE. Love you so much mahal ko! Congratulations!!! 😍.”
Ice replied in the comment section: “Thank you so much, mahal ko. Inspirasyon at katuwang kita sa lahat. ♥️”

Ice, along with fellow child icons Judy Ann Santos, Gladys Reyes, Niño Muhlach, Matet de Leon, and Ian Veneracion, was among those honored at the event.
“Thank you po, FAMAS, sa parangal na ito. 😍 Thank you, mahal kong @lizadino sa pinakamasarap na kiss. 😍😍😍,” Ice shared in a post showing his FAMAS trophy and a photo with his wife.
Ice’s showbiz journey began in 1987 after winning the Little Miss Philippines segment of a popular noontime show. He later starred in several hit films and television series. Aside from acting, he also carved a name in music as a singer-songwriter, producing hits such as “Pagdating ng Panahon,” “Anong Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa,” and “Para Lang Sa’yo,” among others.

Currently, Ice is preparing for his upcoming concert Being Ice Live! The Concert Experience to be held on September 12 and 13 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City.
“Binuo ako ng mga karanasan ko sa buhay, at dinala ako ng mga kantang minahal n’yo sa kung nasaan ako ngayon. Sa concert na ito, I want to honor the songs that carried ‘Aiza’ through the most defining seasons of my life, while opening space for a new story.,” Ice wrote. “Sa dalawang gabi na ‘to, gawin natin lahat. Let’s sing it loud, sing it proud. Sama-sama tayong maging totoo, kasi ‘yon ang tunay na diwa ng concert na ito.
He also recently released his latest all-original album Being Ice, his first in 10 years. The nine-track record chronicles his journey of courage and maturity.
