Content creator Lottie Bie used her platform to address postpartum body comparisons after receiving remarks that she “does not look like she gave birth at all,” prompting her to share what she described as her real “mom bod.”
In a social media post on January 8, Lottie posted a video showing her post-pregnancy tummy, marked by darkened skin and stretch marks — both of which are normal effects of pregnancy and childbirth.
In the video, Lottie explained her intent in sharing how she really looks, underscoring that her post was meant to counter unrealistic expectations often placed on mothers after giving birth.
“I don’t want to set any unrealistic expectations. This is my mom bod. I earned this.”
“Right now, my body doesn't look ‘pretty’ but ‘pretty’ wasn’t what my baby needed. And I’d rather be what my baby needs than what society wants,” she emphasized.
In the caption, Lottie expanded the remarks that led her to speak out, explaining that she began receiving messages comparing postpartum bodies.
“This is my mom bod no filter.
I started getting comments from moms comparing their bodies to mine. From dads comparing my body to their wives. ’Parang di ka nanganak, nung ako...’, ’yung wife ko mukhang... nung nanganak.‘
And compliments they may seem like, but it's because you haven't seen my body yet. So here it is.”

She acknowledged that while these remarks may be framed as compliments, they are often based on incomplete perceptions. She went on to describe the physical realities she continues to experience postpartum. Framing motherhood as a source of pride rather than loss, she concluded her message with words that resonated widely with fellow mothers.
“My stomach is dark, expanded, it still hurts. I still bleed. My mammary glands MAMMARY GLANDS?! are low because of milk.
My stretch marks go all the way to my back.
I look back at my fitness videos and compare myself to myself.
But my version now is much stronger.
My marks are my baby's first artwork.
My body is her home.
I couldn't be more proud of it.
So I'm a mom and yes you would know,” she wrote.
Her post drew supportive responses from followers and celebrities, many of whom thanked her for normalizing postpartum bodies and sharing her experience.
“Beautiful. It was a battle to get here and you triumphed. 😍🙌🔥,” wrote celebrity mom, Kylie Padilla.
“Grabe yung kindness mo here, I bet madami kang na comfort na mga moms na nagsstruggle, I respect all moms talaga!,” one commented.
“hi lottie. I really needed this. this is so vulnerable. I’m nearing my due date and my body hasn’t been the same. . thank you for reminding me of the beauty of motherhood. 🤍️,” another added.
Lottie announced the birth of her first child in December 2025, surprising many online after keeping her pregnancy private despite remaining active on social media. Along with the announcement, she also opened about her health journey, sharing that she had been battling multiple medical conditions, including stage 3 endometriosis, adenomyosis, anxiety, chronic pain, and having only one remaining fallopian tube.
Known for her large following on TikTok, where she rose to viral fame through her “Multiverse alternate reality problems” series, Lottie has since begun sharing more about her life as a first-time mother.
Following her childbirth, she launched an Instagram broadcast channel where she said she plans to share anecdotes, advice, and updates about motherhood with fellow moms and aspiring parents.
