Dennis Trillo shared how his eldest son, Calix, is open to joining the showbiz industry in the future. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda on Fast Talk, the celebrity father shared how his son is willing to undergo workshops and training if given the chance.
Calix is currently a student at the University of the Philippines - Diliman and represents the school at the UAAP playing Fencing. He previously won the Rookie of the Year award for the UAAP Season 88 Men’s Fencing Tournament.

“Gusto niya. Mahilig din siya. Sa ngayon, tinatanong niya ako kung puwede raw siya mag-workshop at mag-voice lessons. Sabi ko, gawin natin yan pag wala kang school,” Dennis shared.
The Kapuso star added how he will be the one personally doing the workshop for his son when the time comes.
In the same interview, Dennis shared some of the tips he’s given to his son now that he’s an adult himself.
“Ang paalala ko sa kanya is 'wag magmamadali. Enjoy lang niya buhay niya kung magka-girlfriend man siya,” Dennis expressed.
Calix is Dennis's son with his former girlfriend, Carlene Aguilar.
“Siyempre, ayoko na makabuntis siya nang wala sa oras. Gusto ko, prepared at siguradong kaya niyang panindigan lahat ng mga responsibilities pagka nangyari yun–– pinaghahandaan ang importante,” he maintained.
“Mag-iingat palagi kasi siyempre yung mga bata ngayon mga mapupusok. Minsan hindi natin alam yung mga ginagawa nila so mga paalala lang talaga yung magsisilbing reminder every day sa kanila,” he added.

When asked about his son’s girlfriend, Dennis expressed how he thinks it’s a serious relationship for Calix and that they've already met her. The unnamed girlfriend is also an athlete, as Dennis shared.
“Mabait din naman, marespeto, and feeling ko nanggaling naman sa maayos na background,” he ended.
