Heart Evangelista reminded social media influencers and other successful personalities to remain humble and kind.
The fashion icon shared the advice during her guest appearance on the vodcast hosted by Chariz Solomon and Buboy Villar, where she also dropped a blind item involving people she claimed had criticized her.
While discussing the topic, Heart pointed out that people who appear supportive of one another online may not always be the same way in person.
“Sometimes, 'yung pinaka-mukhang parang they're so supportive with one another or they are like [into] girl power na mga girls, sila pa 'yung pinaka-masama sa lahat,” she stated.

The global fashion icon then recalled an encounter that she said happened relatively recently involving people who, according to her, had been making negative comments about her.
“I remember one time, and this is already like not very far ago. Sila din ‘yung mga nanlalait sa akin ngayon. Nilalait nila ako. I don’t know why,” she said. “I stepped out and one of them said 'Oh I love your dress. It’s on sale right?' Tapos nagtatawanan sila.”
Rather than taking offense, Heart questioned why that would be something worth making fun of.
“First and foremost, ano ang problema na sale? Bakit? Ano bang damit mo? May problema ka sa on sale?" she expressed.
For Heart, however, the interaction is a reminder for people to be more discerning about the personalities they admire online.
“‘Yung blind item ko is more of like a lesson also that you really have to decipher who you look up to on social media. And if it’s too good to be true, most of the time it’s not true,” she said.
The actress and fashion influencer also cautioned against judging people solely based on how they present themselves online, particularly those who appear approachable or relatable to their followers.
“Usually... kung sino ‘yung madadak, na parang trying to be one with people, ‘yun ‘yung actually totoong bully because they’re not that in person,” she said. “It's true though.”
From there, Heart turned her remarks into a broader message for those who have gained recognition, particularly through social media.
She stressed that success should never become a reason for someone to forget where they came from.
“No matter how successful you are, matuto kang lumingon kung saan ka nanggaling, maging humble ka, ipako mo ‘yung dalawa mong paa sa lapag,” she said.
Heart also pointed out how quickly the public’s attention can shift, reminding personalities not to let viral moments or online popularity get to their heads.
“Wala akong pakialam kung viral ka ngayon; ang bilis ng ikot ng mundo. Huwag masyadong maging malaki ang ulo, maging mabait ka sa lahat ng tao,” she added.

For her, humility should also extend to the way people treat those they encounter in their everyday lives, regardless of their profession or social standing.
“Kung sino makakasulubong mo pataas, ‘yun din sis ang makakasulubong mo pababa. Kaya maging mabait ka sa lahat,” she said.
“Kapag nag-thank you ka sa waiter, tignan mo sa mata at sabihin mo 'thank you'. Huwag mong daan-daanan ang mga tao porke’t naka-Hermes ka. Huwag kang dumaan-daan sa tao porke’t naka-shimmer 'yung mga mukha niyo. Maging mabait kayo. Huwag kayong bully,” she added.
Heart did not name any particular person in connection with her remarks.
Her straightforward message nevertheless drew attention online, with netizens praising the fashion icon for speaking candidly about humility and kindness despite her own longstanding presence in the local and international fashion and entertainment scene.
