Chris Cahilig has joined Bea Alonzo's circle as an interim agent since the news of her former manager Shirley Kuan's resignation surfaced over the weekend.
Cahilig, who recently took over Kuan's role, wasn't chosen out of nowhere. He has served as Puregold’s public relations specialist, overseeing the CinePanalo film festival and other promotional events. Puregold is operated by Alonzo’s husband, Vincent Co.

“I’ll serve as her interim agent or manager to handle pending and ongoing projects and inquiries,” Cahilig confirmed with ABS-CBN News in an exclusive interview.
Asked if he has already met with Alonzo to plan things out, he responded: “No. We still haven’t sat down and talked about the details yet.”

Kuan's resignation comes amid speculations that she “wasn’t happy” that Alonzo did not defend her against accusations that she was allegedly one of the reasons the first planned wedding failed.

While Kuan has yet to release an official statement, Cahilig said Alonzo and Co are focused on their roles as wife and husband.
