Vice Ganda was recognized for her role in the movie "Call me Mother," which gained her the nod for the Best Actor award in the Philippines.
Hizon, for his part, was named the Best Entertainment Host from the Philippines for his Rated R: The Rico Hizon Podcast.
Making it also to the Grand Final for the Best Actress Award is Nadine Lustre for her lead role in Viu’s Love, Siargao.
Also earning recognition as "Best Adaptation of an Existing Format" in the Philippines was "It's Okay To Not Be Okay," while Onat Diaz was recognized for his direction of "The Silent Noise."
"The Silent Noise" was also recognized as the Philippines' best drama.
"The National Winners will now represent their respective nations and territories at the Grand Awards Gala on 3 December 2026 at the Capitol Theatre, Singapore, where the 2026 Grand Final Winners will be revealed," according to the Asian Academy Creative Awards.
The Asian Academy Creative Awards recognizes excellence in film, television and digital content across 18 nations and territories throughout Asia-Pacific.
Presented by the Asian Academy of Creative Arts, the Awards celebrate outstanding programs, performances and creative achievement from across the region.
