Dennis Trillo, Jennylyn Mercado, and Sam Milby shared love advice based on their characters in their film, Everything About My Wife.
In an interview with Bianca Gonzalez, the three stars reflected on how their characters should handle struggles and dilemmas in love.
Dennis, who played Dom, emphasized the importance of patience in maintaining relationships.
“Habaan mo iyong pasensya mo sa asawa mo o pasensya sa karelasyon ninyo. Huwag niyo sila susukuan. Kung magdedesisyon ka ng isang mahalagang desisyon sa buhay niyo or relasyon niyo, siguraduhin niyo na pagisiipan niyo siya ng mabuti,” Dennis said.
He added, “Huwag ka magiisip ng mga walang kwentang bagay na hindi makakatulong sa relasyon niyo.”
Jennylyn, who portrayed Imo, highlighted the significance of open communication in relationships.
“Sa lahat ng relasyon, palaging kapag may problema, kailangan pagusapan ng husto. Importante na open yung communication sa isa’t isa. Kapag may mag samaan ng loob, pag-isipan ng mabuti kung ano yung magiging desisyon sa buhay, hindi yung basta ka na lang susugod kung ano yung magiging desisyon mo ngayon dahil galit ka,” she said.
Jennylyn also stressed the value of taking a break before discussing issues.
“Importante na may pahinga. Hinga na muna kayo siyaka kapag okay na kayo saka kayo maguusap kasi kapag nagusap na kayo ng galit, pareho kayo mainit ang ulo, wala talaga patutunguhan ang paguusap niyo. Hindi masesettle ang problema,” she continued.
Dennis and Jennylyn’s characters, Dom and Imo, have been married for almost a decade. The couple face struggles in keeping the spark alive, prompting Dom to decide something that will keep him away from her. However, his decision backfired on him as he realized how he still loved Imo.

Meanwhile, Sam, who played Miguel, a womanizer, shared that love always finds a way.
“There’s always hope. Love will always find a way. You have the love of your life. Kung namatay man sya or nawala man siya, there’s always hope for love. Love will always find a way. Don’t give up on love,” Sam said.
Aside from giving advice to their characters, the stars also shared insights on showing affection, taking risks for love, and letting go of toxic relationships during Bianca's Paano Ba ‘To episode.
On the other hand, Sam addressed his viral interview where he confirmed his split from former Miss Universe Catriona Gray.
“I don’t really feel at peace, honestly. You know, pagdating sa relationship namin, we have always been very private. It is something that I still don't really want to talk about but I felt there was a certain issue that was being thrown around na may third party,” Sam expressed.
He also clarified rumors involving his former labelmate and ex-friend, singer Moira Dela Torre.
“I think that needed to be cleared up so gusto ko lang i-klaro na walang katotohanan about that issue at all, It was more about that. I want that to make it clear because so many people are believing this and saying this na si Moira ang third party and I needed to address that and put a step on it because there’s absolutely no truth at all. That’s the point of the interview,” he added.
Everything About My Wife is now showing in 208 cinemas nationwide.
