Singer and songwriter Rico Blanco shared how ecstatic he was after finding out three of his songs from different eras were on the music charts. On his Instagram account, the musician expressed his gratitude towards his fans that made it possible for this to happen.
His three songs that were charting on the music charts earlier this month were "Your Universe," "Balisong (Transformed)," and "Wag Mong Aminin."

Apart from his songs from the different eras charting, Rico is one of the top OPM male artists being listened to on the music platform Spotify. He joins new artists such as Earl Agustin, Dionela, Hev Abi, Shanti Dope, HELLMERRY, Skusta Clee, Arthur Nery, TJ Monterde, and Flow G, in the top 10.
“Three of my songs are in the charts. From different eras, they're there simultaneously 🤯 I've never heard of anything like this,” he wrote.
Rico added how various fans across generations are growing and listening to his music–– both old and new releases–– to which he is grateful for. He currently has more than 4.7 million monthly listeners as of this writing.
“My monthly streams also continue to grow as more and more music fans from every generation discover my music, and now I find myself alongside today’s most talented stars,” he added.
The veteran singer and songwriter shared how humbled he is with the overflowing support he receives from his fans. For him, it’s his motivation to push forward despite the challenges he faces in his life.
“I feel so blessed with your love and support. It keeps me going even when life sometimes gets difficult. Thank you so much to all of you. I appreciate you with all my heart. Love you all,” he ended.

Friends and fans of Rico congratulated him in the comment section. Other members of the music industry shared how happy they were for his steady and long standing career in music.

Rico has been in the music industry for more than three decades already–– starting from Rivermaya up until now in his solo career.
