Ramona, the musical alter ego of actress Andrea Brillantes, unveiled Friday the music video for her new song, the rock-leaning self-worth anthem "Manloloko."
Inspired by 1990s alternative rock, "Manloloko" talks about the realization of one's self-worth in the aftermath of a breakup.
"It's about knowing your worth, learning from heartbreak, and realizing that walking away from a 'manloloko' can lead you to someone who actually knows how to value you," Ramona said in a press statement.
The song is produced by Sam Marquez and timothy Run, with mastering by Emil Dela Rosa.
The song's theme of leaving the past behind is reflected in its video, which depicts Ramona as a runaway bride with no particular destination in mind as she embraces freedom and the uncertainty of the road ahead.
"Manloloko" is Ramona's third single, following her debut track "Gaga" and sophomore single "Laguna," all of which were released this year.
