Nadine Lustre shared the inspiration behind her new song "10yrs," reflecting on her journey and the different versions of herself throughout her 20s.
On Instagram, the singer-actress wrote: "This song is my way of honoring all the versions of me that existed through my 20s. Not for having it all figured out, but for becoming in their own time."
Nadine also expressed her hope that the song would resonate with listeners as they navigate their own journeys.
"May this song find a place in you, wherever you are in your own becoming," she said.
Fans online were quick to react to Nadine's post.
"I love every era of you both in 20s and [now] in your 30s. Forever is a ride with you till the very end queen Nadine Lustre," one fan wrote.
"Proud of you since day one," another fan said.
Co-written by Nadine and Rose Caroline Mamonong, "10yrs" features beats and instrumentation by Isagani Palabyab, along with violin contributions from GD Onallices. The song was released on music platforms on Friday, October 2 via Cool Girl Records.
The track follows Nadine’s recent releases, “Donuts” and “Personal.”

In December 2025, Nadine revealed that she was eager to pursue music again, sharing that she continued to enjoy creating songs.
"For sure. I work with a friend of mine who released an album pero featuring lang ako dun. But I still enjoy making music," she said in an interview with MJ Felipe on The B Side of Cinema One.
The singer-actress also opened up about her passion for songwriting and the creative freedom she experiences in the recording studio.
"I enjoy writing, I enjoy being in the studio and just vibing and kind of coming up with ideas or you know, just making something," she remarked.
Nadine released her last full-length album, Wildest Dreams, in 2020. The record was accompanied by a 33-minute visual album featuring music videos for six of its tracks.
