Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Maris Racal had fans holding their breaths over what many thought was a romantic surprise.
The Kapamilya singer-actress recently stirred online buzz after posting a selfie with Cup of Joe’s vocalist Gian Bernardino. In the photos, Maris was seen smiling brightly while holding a bouquet of flowers, with Gian right by her side.

What truly set social media abuzz was her short but intriguing caption: “plot twist 🤍.”
With no explanation attached, fans immediately speculated about the real score between the two.
As the questions continued to pile up, Maris finally put an end to the guessing game.
On February 13, she revealed on Instagram that the viral post was a teaser for her newest single, “Sino Ang Tanga”, with its music video now available on YouTube.
“plot twist: it’s for my new music video,” she wrote.
The music video stars Gian as her onscreen partner, delivering scenes that instantly sent fans into kilig mode. In one moment, Gian was seen apparently gently kissing Maris’s leg, while another scene showed the two seemingly deep in conversation inside a car. Their chemistry did not go unnoticed, adding to the thrill of the reveal.
Following the announcement, reactions poured in from fans and fellow celebrities alike, many admitting they were momentarily convinced.

Even before the big reveal, Maris and Gian had already fueled excitement after hopping on the “Big Guy” trend on TikTok. The video has since garnered more than 2 million views, further amplifying the buzz around their pairing.
Maris's last song release was her January 2025 single, “Perpektong Tao.”
