MANILA — American acoustic pop-rock act Stephen Speaks is set to release a new song, “Right on Time,” marking a new chapter for the group behind the well-loved tracks “Passenger Seat” and “Out of My League.”
Stephen Speaks announced the upcoming release in a social media post September 29, telling fans that the new song is about “the unexpected turns that somehow lead us to the people we’re meant to find.”
"For years, you’ve shared your stories with us through 'Passenger Seat' '1500 Miles' and 'Out of My League.' You’ve told us where you were, who you were with, and what those songs still mean to you. That has always meant more than I can say. Now I’m ready to share a new song and a new chapter with you. It’s called 'Right on Time.' It’s about the unexpected turns that somehow lead us to the people we’re meant to find," the caption read.
Stephen Speaks also revealed that they will be doing a Right on Time World Tour, which includes a stop in Manila.
"On 21 November, we will kick off the Right on Time World Tour at Dubai Miracle Garden. The Philippines comes next, and I can’t wait to share more venues & dates with you. Thank you for keeping the old songs close. I hope you’ll make room for this one, too. See you soon."
Stephen Speaks last performed in the Philippines in February 2023 for a mall tour, released a single, and launched the vinyl version of their “greatest album.”
