A six-track EP that captures the joys and thrill of being in love
Up-and-coming Kapamilya singer Justin Mclaire embraces his romantic side with his sophomore EP, “OUTLOUD,” a six-track collection that captures the excitement, comfort, and joy of falling in love.
The EP, released under StarPop, takes listeners through different moments of being in love—from falling in love, finding comfort and certainty in someone, to choosing to embrace the relationship despite its ups and downs.
The tracks were composed by Dennis Campañer, Russu Laurente, Rex Torremoro, Ron Pangyarihan, Trisha Denise, and ABS-CBN Music creatives, content, and operations head Jonathan Manalo, with StarPop label head Roque “Rox” Santos serving as overall producer.
"OUTLOUD" opens with “Click,” a song on meeting someone who immediately feels familiar and with whom you can comfortably be yourself. “Sang Ayon” follows with a story about being certain of the person you love despite what others may say.
“Pahina” likens love to a book, with every chapter holding its share of happy and difficult moments while choosing to stay and fight for the relationship. Meanwhile, “Tara Tara” brings a feel-good road trip vibe, celebrating the excitement of going anywhere as long as you are with the person you love.
“Fave Notiff” captures the simple thrill of waiting for a message from someone special, while “Lilipad” highlights the excitement of falling for someone and looking forward to being together.
Last year, Justin released his self-titled debut EP, also under StarPop, featuring the tracks “Bining Pantasya” and “Love Me Back.” Aside from music, he is also an actor who has appeared in the ABS-CBN series “Blood vs Duty,” “Love Is Never Gone,” “Sins of the Father,” and the film “Tirik.”
