Given how Gloria (Julia Montes) is able to eloquently and confidently explain to the people of Paraiso compound the contents of the documents that her Ate Max (Arci Muñoz) and their family attorney are asking for Rudy (Joey Marquez) and some of their neighbors to sign, Gabo (Coco Martin) and his family can't help but suspect that she may be slowly regaining her memories.
While Gloria is busy preparing their dinner at Gabo's request, the Magtibays express their concern over the possibility. Mameng (Ces Quesada) asks her nephew what they should do, to which he replies that there's nothing else they can do but to tell Gloria the truth—that she only lied to her in because they wanted to protect her.
As they join her in the dining area, Gloria seems to be caught off guard when Mameng and Rudy ask her about where she lives and who her parents are. She manages to keep her composure and diverts the questions to Gabo, as she continues with her pretense. Gabo then asks her whether she's beginning to remember her past and true identity, but Gloria insists that still can't remmeber anything.
Gabo explains that he asks because they have noticed how confidently she speaks about everything, which they find difficult to believe. Not wanting to blow her cover just yet, Gloria says she is surprised by herself that she is able to explain things so well. Rudy remarks that they actually thought she had already regained her memory, while Mameng praises her for seemingly being well-versed in the law.
Reiterating how surprised they are by what they have heard from her, Gabo assures Gloria that she hasn’t said anything wrong. They are simply amazed by her knowledge and grateful for all the help she has given—not only to their family but to the entire neighborhood. Gloria gives him a short but sweet response, saying that she simply wants to help.
