Hotel guests across the country will get access to zero-emission airport transfers and city travel, thanks to a new hospitality and mobility partnership.
As both domestic and foreign tourism continue to grow in the Philippines, today’s vacationers expect more than just clean accommodations and first-rate amenities. How they navigate a location is now as important to their overall travel experience as where they stay.
In response to this change, local transportation and hospitality industries are starting to come together around eco-friendly travel options.
Philippine hospitality group Global Comfort Group and electric ride-hailing business Green GSM Philippines recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that paves the way for an integrated approach to green tourism by providing hotel guests nationwide with zero-emission transportation.

Travelers staying at Global Comfort Group properties, which include Hotel Sogo, Eurotel, Astrotel, Dormtel, Hotel DreamWorld, and Apo View Hotel, will now receive direct and convenient access to all-electric taxi services as part of the new strategic partnership.
Highlights included low-emission pickups and drop-offs linked to hotel stays, city sightseeing, and customer engagement programs aimed at making sustainable travel more accessible.

"By bringing together comfortable stays and sustainable transportation, we are helping create a better way to travel, one that cares for both our guests and the destinations they visit."
For Green GSM, which operates a fleet of smart VinFast electric vehicles in the country, the collaboration is a significant step towards making electric ride-hailing a regular option for both local and international tourists.
Along with its existing fleet, the transportation provider is preparing to launch its Limo Green model to meet the broader group travel and premium transportation needs of the local tourism sector.
"Partnering with Global Comfort Group enables Green GSM to integrate quality accommodation with modern, smart, and sustainable transportation solutions," shared Le Thi Thu Trang, chief executive officer of Green GSM Philippines.
She added that the goal is to make green transportation a more common part of daily travel for both residents and visitors as domestic tourism grows.
While the MoU marks the start of the collaboration, both companies intend to implement practical mobility initiatives aimed at increasing the adoption of sustainable practices in the Philippine travel and hospitality ecosystem.
