Christmas hits a little differently when it is celebrated with the ones you hold dearest. Long before the December air turns crisp and the city lights flicker into life, the magic of the season begins in the quiet, sacred spaces we share with family, chosen kin, and the art we live by.
On November 29 at 8 p.m., the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater in Circuit Makati will transform into an intimate haven of holiday warmth. Six powerhouse performers — Arman Ferrer, Shiela Valderrama, Gian Magdangal, Lara Maigue, Nyoy Volante and Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante — will take the stage for "Christmas 3." Directed by Nelsito Gomez with musical direction by Marlon Barnuevo, the evening promises an early Christmas treat filled with love, laughter, and timeless holiday favorites.
Beneath the glittering arrangements and soaring vocals lies something far more profound: an invitation to unwrap the personal traditions, quiet truths, and shared harmonies of the performers who breathe life into Philippine stages.

"With theater, just like in life, you always look for the truth. You want everything to be genuine," Ferrer said, his voice carrying the thoughtful deliberation of a leading man who looks past the footlights. "What is the ultimate truth this Christmas? Love. Love should always dictate our lives, especially this season."
For Ferrer, the season is a living echo of a timeless melody. "I think the magic of Christmas is rooted in love. Why do we visit our families? Why do we give gifts? Why do we sing carols? Why are we more generous? Why is there more happiness all around? It is because we are more loving, especially this season. As the Jackson 5 song goes, ‘Give Love on Christmas Day.’"
Valderrama looks at the holidays through the lens of deep-rooted community and shared history.
"For me, Christmas has always been about spending time with family, sharing good food, and enjoying the traditions we grew up with," she shared with a warm smile.
"Some of my dearest friendships were formed through theater. We’ve watched each other grow, celebrated milestones, and been there for one another through different seasons of life. They’ve become my second family. I think that’s where the magic of theater and Christmas meet for me — both are about connection, shared stories, and coming together."

Finding harmony in life and song
To watch Magdangal and Maigue perform is to witness two distinct musical universes collide into effortless grace. He brings the formidable, soulful presence of theater and pop, while she possesses a breathtaking, classically-trained soprano brilliance that can quiet an entire room.
Yet, when asked what it feels like to harmonize their extraordinary worlds as husband and wife, Magdangal speaks simply of partnership.
"For us, music has always been such a big part of our relationship, so getting to share the stage as husband and wife feels very natural and yet still very special," he shared. "Though we come from different musical backgrounds, over the years, we’ve learned how to be unique collaborators. This has brought out something very surprisingly different and fruitful in many ways. It’s also how we approach our life together: listening, adjusting, supporting each other, and finding harmony."
For Maigue, the upcoming concert is an extension of their expanding world and a love letter to their community. "Christmas makes that even more meaningful because of our growing family, togetherness, and sharing something joyful with the people you love," she notes. "And to be doing this concert with dear friends like Arman, Shiela, Nyoy, and Mikkie makes the evening feel even more personal."
"We hope 'Christmas 3' feels less like a formal concert and more like spending a beautiful Christmas evening with your friends and loved ones. Making new wonderful memories together with great music and company."

Unwrapping new layers of romance
For Volante and Bradshaw-Volante, every appearance together on stage is a masterclass in chemistry, depth, and soul.
They are artists who wear their hearts on their sleeves, bringing an intoxicating intimacy to every lyric they touch. Yet, even after years of sharing both home and marquee, the magic still holds the power to surprise them.
"While we’ve shared the stage several times before, this experience is new for us," he mused, a quiet wonder in his tone. "I think it surprises us to find out there are still new things to experience together."
She echoed that sentiment, pointing straight to the emotional core of what the evening aims to achieve. "Since the holidays are all about family, we hope our audience feels the love we have for each other and for the friends we share the stage with.
"Hopefully, it can get everyone inspired and excited for all the warmth and love that comes with the season!"
