MANILA -- Diesel prices are slipping while gasoline prices are climbing in the first week of October, the Department of Energy (DOE) said Monday.
The agency said oil prices could move by the following amounts on Oct. 6, Tuesday.
- Diesel - P1.30/L decrease
Gasoline - P1.93/L increase
Kerosene - P3.30/L increase
Prices remain high due to continued tensions in the Middle East.
Meanwhile, the DOE said cooking gas prices are also expected to rise by P17.33 a kilo or P190.63 per regular tank.
