Handout photo.Ateneo-Pilipinas booked a spot in the Finals after taking down JSKILLS, 67-39, in the Under-11 semifinals of the Philippine Youth Basketball Championship (PYBC) Growee Cup over the weekend at the Unilab High Court in Mandaluyong City.
Ateneo will face Dan’s Basketbros, which demolished San Beda College Alabang-B, 116-35, in the other U11 semifinal.
In Under-12 action, Converge-Coach T escaped Vixen, 62-61, in the semifinals to advance to the championship round.
Converge-Coach T will battle Grupong Bedista-San Beda, which overcame Eagles Basketball Team, 76-59, in the other U12 semifinal.
In the Under-13 semifinals, GTU Arrows booked its Finals berth after dominating Xavier, 80-57.
GTU will take on A.V. Silo x LDBL, which turned back El Cubo Basketball, 72-62, in the other semifinal.
Meanwhile, the semifinal pairings in the Under-14 and Under-15 divisions were also finalized after Sunday’s games.
Grupong Bedista took down Trotter x Lam, 75-44, while San Beda College Alabang denied Converge-Coach T, 94-47, to set up their U15 semifinal clash.
In another U15 quarterfinal, Atoy’s Porkchop defeated Go Hard, 92-35, to set up a semifinal meeting with San Sebastian College.
In the U14 quarterfinals, Flair escaped San Beda Alabang, 64-61, while Vixen overwhelmed Go Hard, 70-44, to book their semifinal matchup.
Lukkas Basketball and Atoy’s Porkchop also advanced to the U14 semifinals after defeating Converge-Coach T, 107-30, and Stallions, 52-32, respectively.
