MANILA — League of Legends: Wild Rift has released Patch 7.3, which is centered on massive gameplay development.
It focuses on making build choices more meaningful, giving players more ways to carry, and creating a battlefield that heavily rewards strategy.
Patch 7.3 puts the “carry” back into the hard-hitting ADC by strengthening the fantasy of scaling into a powerful basic-attack threat. Here, the base critical strike damage surged from 175% to 200%. Additionally, the Attack Speed cap went up from 2.5 to 3 attacks per second.
Riot, developer of Wild Rift, envisioned making crit marksmen rely more meaningfully on basic attacks as they scale, making Attack Speed a game-changing consideration when choosing builds.
This is not just a simple, systemic numbers buff, as numerous marksmen—including Ezreal, Kai’Sa, Twitch, Lucian, Caitlyn, Draven, Miss Fortune, Samira, Zeri, Jinx, Vayne, and Ashe—now receive targeted adjustments.
To support this major development, the item ecosystem has also gotten a major refresh. Marksmen can look forward to new or redesigned options such as Hexoptics, Yun Tal Wildarrows, Fiendhuler Bolts, Stormrazor, Rapid Firecannon, and Immortal Shieldbow.
A shift around sustain introduces Lifesteal, which maintains strength and boosts basic attacks, on-hit damage, and abilities treated as basic attacks.
Patch 7.3 also transforms the jungle into a more farm-focused and rewarding environment. It eases the traditional pressure on junglers to constantly gank, heavily rewarding them for clearing camps instead and shifting the expectation onto laners to win their own matchups.
Turret mechanics are also seeing a massive overhaul to round out these strategic map changes. Turret plating will now expand across outer, inner, and inhibitor turrets, persisting permanently.
These structural adjustments fundamentally shift how teams approach map control and sieging. By altering turret presence and introducing dynamic new ways to interact with them, Patch 7.3 forces players to make more calculated decisions about when and where to apply lane pressure. Consequently, it is also now more imperative to ensure turrets do not go unattended and undefended.
