Sisi Rondina and Bernadeth Pons had a triumphant debut in the Asian Games.
This, as the beach volleyball duo, popularly known as “SiPons,” make quick work of Bangladesh’s Most Sabina Khatun and Mst Lucky Khatun, 21-6, 21-6, in the women’s division of the sport, Sunday at the Hekinan Ryokuchi Beach Court.
“Ipinakita namin kung ano yung naging training namin coming here early and prinactice din namin kung ano yung mga additional plays namin,” said Rondina after the victory.
With the win, they became closer to sweeping Pool E, where they will face Kazakhstan next.
