Alas Pilipinas beach teams continued to dominate the sands at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games.
This, as the pairs of Khy Progella and Sofiah Pagara, as well as Ronniel Rosales and James Buytrago dominated their respective opponents, Monday at the Hekinan Ryokuchi Beach Court.

They replicated the results of Sisi Rondina and Bernadeth Pons, who overwhelmed Bangladesh with a 21-6, 21-6 score line on Sunday at the same venue.
The duo of Progella and Pagara drubbed Maldives’ Fathimath Anal and Aminath Areesha, 21-6, 21-11, in Pool G, while Rosales and Buytrago defeated Mongolia’s Amar Batmunkh and Shijir-Erdene Bat-Enkh, 21-11, 21-15.

Progella and Pagara, also the Busan Futures champions, eye to continue Alas Beach teams' streak against Mongolia's Khandsuren Gantogtokh and Tsolmon Batjarga, while the men's team also eyes another win against Nguyen Lam Toi and Tran Van Viet of Vietnam.
Meanwhile, Lerry John Francisco and Ranran Abdilla absorbed their first loss in the tourney, falling to Qatar's Cherif Samba and Ahmed Janko, 21-7, 21-10.
