Comedian and actress Ai-Ai delas Alas revealed that she had the petition for the green card of her ex-husband, Gerald Sibayan, revoked after they parted ways. In an interview with King of Talk Boy Abunda earlier this week, the Kapuso star shared that this was her way of moving forward as well from the relationship she had with the former athlete.
A green card, formally known as a Permanent Resident Card, is the legal document needed by a person to allow them to live and work in the United States indefinitely. This would also allow the person to apply to become a US citizen after several years.

Previously, Ai-Ai shared that she wouldn’t be revoking her petition for her ex-husband’s green card despite what happened. However, ishe had some realizations and decided to withdraw the petition.
Gerald’s green card was revoked at the same time she filed for divorce as revealed in the interview. Though the results of the divorce haven't been released yet, the comedian shared that her ex-husband is no longer under her petition for the residency card.

When asked if she has already moved on from the failed relationship, she admitted that she is still in the process but once in a while would still cry about it.
“I’ve moved on–– trinatry ko mag move on pero hindi pa siguro yung totally healed na healed.
Despite this, Ai-Ai shared that she is already at peace with herself and is living a life filled with positivity.
“Ako ngayon ay at peace. Sabi ko nga, meron akong legacy of peace. Sabi nga pain was my teacher and healing is my revolution,” she ended.
