Kris Aquino, hailed as the "Queen of All Media," is looking forward to a more active 2027, sharing that returning to work has brought her happiness and positively affected her health as she continues to manage her medical conditions.

“I noticed that when I am active, I am happy. And when I am happy, I noticed health-wise my blood pressure is nicer. Even my skin, I noticed, is better. It really has a lot to do with your attitude,” she said in a recent interview during her endorsement shoot for an e-commerce platform.

However, the actress and television host stressed that she continues to work at a limited capacity as she prioritizes her health.

Aquino explained that she was able to attend the endorsement shoot because her immunosuppressant infusion had been delayed after her white blood cell count dropped to a level that made proceeding with the treatment inadvisable.

“The only reason I was able to work with all of you now is na-delay infusion of my immunosuppressant. The third one should have been around this time. But my WBC and basta medical terms — it was too low,” she explained.

“If that were the case, I won't have a life. I would be stuck in a bubble in my room,” she added.

Aquino also opened up about the physical pain she continues to experience, saying there are days when she struggles to get out of bed because of the discomfort in her bones.

“There are days I can’t get out of bed because of my bones. It is like your bones are feeling… that thing you are using to crush garlic? That is how it feels. Hina-hammer 'yung buto. Not just the first layer… the inside of your bones,” she said.

Despite the challenges, Aquino expressed gratitude to those who have continued to pray for her recovery, acknowledging that her health journey has also touched the lives of her supporters.

“I have to say thank you to the people. I think I am the only person who can say millions prayed for me to get better. My journey has been their journey as well,” she said.

“I need your prayers because this is for life. There are bad days and good days,” she added.

Aquino has stayed largely away from show business in recent years to focus on battling autoimmune diseases.

Earlier this year, she appeared in a series of promotional videos for Netflix Philippines, portraying the streaming platform's fictional content head.
