Tension and emotions remain high in the Jacinto household, fueled by Isobel’s (Carmi Martin) growing fear that Sam (Julia Montes) may already be dead, following fortune teller Madam Matilda’s (Malou Crisologo) grim prediction. Her husband, Ricardo (Edu Manzano), and their older daughter, Max (Arci Muñoz), both reprove her for placing her faith in someone whose credibility is uncertain and assure her that the authorities are still doing everything they can to find Sam.
Meanwhile, in Ginintuang Lupa, Gabo (Coco Martin) and his family and friends discuss what transpired the night before, which left him severely beaten and unconscious after he attempted to single-handedly take down the group of goons who attacked their neighbors while searching for Sam.
The encounter only reinforces the danger Gloria is in, as they realize that the group after her clearly will not stop until they’re able to catch her. This prompts Tekla (Sue Ramirez) to once again urge Gabo to let Gloria go, especially now that his loved ones and the people around him are getting caught up in the dangerous situation. Gabo, however, says he is already too deeply involved to easily walk away from helping and protecting Gloria, so he remains determined to see through what he has started.
Although his friends are certain that the group they encountered the previous night is still unaware that Gloria is hiding in their house, Gabo refuses to take any chances. So, he asks his friends and family to continue helping him protect Gloria, instructing his friends to keep watch for any suspicious individuals lurking nearby.
While his Aunt Mameng (Ces Quesada) questions whether what they are doing for Gloria is still right, his father, Rudy (Joey Marquez), promises to continue supporting Gabo in his pursuit of protecting his fake wife.
