As they go on with their breakfast, Gabo’s (Coco Martin) aunt, Mameng (Ces Quesada), warns that his domineering stepmother, Betchay (Irma Adlawan), is bound to cause another scene the moment she sees him in his current condition.
After all, Betchay has yet to get over what happened the previous night during Rudy’s (Joey Marquez) birthday celebration, so Mameng is certain that she will give Gabo another earful, especially once she sees him wounded and in pain, as well as finds out that he has gotten himself into trouble again.
Mameng’s husband, Dante (Julio Diaz), agrees, noting that anyone who knows Betchay can tell that she is still fuming over the previous night and will not easily let Gabo off the hook. Rudy then admits that he no longer knows what it will take to calm Betchay down, prompting Dante to point out how different Betchay is from Gloria (Julia Montes) and how fortunate Gabo is to have Gloria. Thus, Mameng advises Gabo that when the time comes for him to settle down and find a wife for real, he should look for someone like Gloria, who, at the time, quietly listens to their conversation from the bedroom.
