While Gabo (Coco Martin) is busy tidying up the dining table after their meal, Gloria (Julia Montes) tells him how proud she is of him after witnessing the genuine respect their neighbors have shown him.
He shares with her that it has been that way that their neighbors have been used to him ever since he was a kid, so he no longer considers it a big deal. Gloria, however, believes that their respect for Gabo isn't something they've simply given to him—he has earned it because they have seen the goodness in his heart, just as she does.
After almost being caught by Gabo and his family, Gloria maintains her pretense that she still doesn't remember anything by asking Gabo how she came to like him during their days in prison. As he also keeps up with his pretense, Gabo recounts that, aside from his handsome looks—first and foremost—she also got impressed by how he had saved and protected her whenever anyone dared to disrespect or take advantage of her.
Gabo further recalls having a hard time courting her since she practically ignored him, and there were also other inmates who were pursuing her, too. Yet, by the grace of God, his patience and perseverance eventually paid off as Gloria chose him in the end. That’s why he never let her go, and during their wedding, he said that he was the luckiest man in the whole world.
Moreover, he never thought that Gloria would be released so soon and that they would get to be together outside the prison. For the umpteenth time, Gabo reiterates his promise to love and take good care of her for as long and as much as he can.
As the fake couple shares a sweet and lighthearted moment inside the house, Gabo's family can't help but get worried about the possibility of Gloria regaining her memory and how it might eventually affect Gabo. Although Gabo has maintained that it's all for show, they can't help but observe that his feelings for her are already becoming real as days go by. Mameng (Ces Quesada) seems regretful for allowing this to happen but also knows that there is no longer anything they can do about it.
