The much-awaited comeback of the Philippines' first-ever queer dating reality show, "Sparks Camp," for its fourth season is about everything new! And this is exactly what Taku Morita, or simply Taku, is looking forward to experiencing as he enters the camp along with nine other campers this season.

Stepping into the camp as "The Japinoy Charmer" of this season, the 26-year-old, 5-foot-8 Filipino-Japanese freelance social media marketing professional from Chiba, Japan takes pride in being bisexual. Based on his profile posted on his portfolio website, he graduated cum laude from Meridian International College with Major in Film. He has a background in film, photography, and content creation, and has already worked on several projects, such as online campaigns, advertisements, and creative productions.
From his personal identity to his romantic experiences, Taku's life has always been about finding where he truly belongs.
Born in Japan but raised in the Philippines by his aunt and uncle, Taku grew up navigating the questions of identity, family, and home while carrying two cultures with him. When it comes to love, meanwhile, he has also repeatedly experienced betrayal in his past relationships, as all three of his three ex-boyfriends cheated on him.
But in spite of his unpleasant and painful experiences in life, particularly in romance, Taku has never allowed hardships, rejection, bullying, and heartbreak that he has endured to harden him and diminish his innate playful personality. Instead, he refuses to get jaded about love, remaining remarkably hopeful and believing constantly that genuine love indeed exists.
That's why he has not given up yet on finding love. After trying to search for it through dating apps and meeting people in cafés, clubs, and schools, Taku shared in his introduction reel that he's so hopeful about finally meeting someone inside the camp.
