As he proclaims himself as "this season's fun and scandal" in his introduction video for "Sparks Camp" Season 4, camper Howie has perhaps already captured the interest and curiosity of his followers and the avid supporters of the trailblazing first-ever queer dating reality show in the Philippines.
But before we see how his exciting journey inside the camp unfolds alongside his other nine fellow campers, let's get to know first the "Fil-Am-azing Wonderboy" for quite a bit via this special feature!
Born in Illinois, USA as Howard Johnson, this 31-year-old 5'7" gay cisgender man is a former US Marine Corps previously based in Florida and has now returned to the country to reconnect with his Filipino roots after being raised here briefly and going back to the US again where he stayed for good.
Just like some members of the LGBTQ+ community, Howie revealed that he already knew he's gay when he was still a kid, as he recalled being naturally feminine and finding boys attractive.
At 15, however, he finally mustered the courage to confess his sexuality to a fellow ROTC cadet, who also identified as gay. Now that he's already in his 30s, Howie is seemingly hopeful to finally meet "the one" whom the universe has destined for him. In his introduction video for the show, Howie stated, "I joined 'Sparks Camp' Season 4 so I could potentially meet someone that I could date and share a life with."
