More properties in the Philippines have been included in the 2026 Michelin Key selection, which recognizes the most outstanding hotel experiences around the world.
From only 5 last year, the prestigious list has expanded to include 9 hotels and resorts. The accommodations can get as much as three Michelin Keys, similar to Michelin Stars awarded to top-notch restaurants.

Two of them were awarded two Michelin Keys: Raffles Makati gets a promotion, while El Nido Resorts Lagen Island in Palawan makes a splashing debut.

Nustar Hotel in Cebu, El Nido Resorts Pangulasian Island in Palawan, Hotel Okura in Manila, and Manami Resort in Negros Occidental, on the other hand, were each given one Michelin Key.
Completing the Philippines' lineup are Nay Palad Hideaway in Siargao, Fairmont Makati, and Amanpulo in Palawan, which retain their distinctions from last year's Michelin Key selection.

"This second global selection of the Michelin Keys reflects the extraordinary momentum driving the hospitality sector once again this year," Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guide, said in a statement.
He added that the newly released list "celebrates the diversity, vitality, and excellence of an ever-evolving sector, one that continues to push the boundaries of the hospitality experience."
The 2026 Michelin Key list, chosen after months of evaluations by anonymous inspectors, has a total of 2,832 properties across 79 countries. This includes 470 newly awarded hotels and 80 promotions worldwide.
The Michelin Guide also handed out for special awards that recognize specific areas of hospitality such as wellness and design.
