Nic Cabañero starred for the second straight game on the same day, tallying eight points, six rebounds, and two assists as the Philippines cruised to its second straight win in Pool A.
Koji Buenaflor and Luis Pablo each scored six points, while Andrei Dungo added one point and five assists for Gilas, which will next face Kazakhstan in the 3x3 tournament on Wednesday.
On the other hand, Methika Jayasinghe led Sri Lanka with six points and four rebounds as the team absorbed its second straight loss in the pool stage.
Gushan Weerakkodige followed with three points, Anthony Bernard added two, while Don Gunaratna chipped in one.
