Double Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo could not hold back his emotions as he celebrated his younger brother's triumphant campaign in the 2026 Asian Games on Friday.
Eldrew will go home with a medal in his maiden Asian Games stint after claiming bronze in the horizontal bar.
It was a nerve-wracking finish for the Yulo brothers, with Carlos watching in the stands in breathless anticipation of the official results. When the scores were flashed on screen, the elder Yulo held up his arms in triumph and yelled congratulations to his younger brother.

"Sobrang nakaka-proud, wala akong masabi," a visibly elated Carlos told POC Media.
Afterward, the Yulo brothers embraced and showed off their medals after what had been a sensational campaign in Japan.
Carlos had earlier proven that he remains one of the world's very best, winning gold in both the floor exercise and vault final. The twin triumphs completed the elder Yulo's collection of medals, which includes two golds from Paris and a handful more from the world and continental championships.
But the new pair of medals from the 20th Asian Games in Japan carries a special meaning for Carlos, who celebrated not only his own victories but also that of his younger brother.
For Eldrew, meanwhile, it was an emotional breakthrough that will hopefully signal the start of even better results in the future.
