MANILA -- Actor Andre Yllana is fully supportive of his mother, Aiko Melendez, in her relationship with Onemig Bondoc, noting he has never seen her happier or more in love.
“Parang dalaga si mommy ngayon. She is really happy. Pa-out-of-town lang nang pa-out-of-town,” he said in an interview during his contract signing with Viva in Pasig City on Wednesday. “Nakikita ko sila, napapa ‘sana all’ ka na lang. Happy talaga sila.”
Yllana even teased that their overly sweet affection can get cheesy, giving him a bit of “secondhand cringe.”

“Aminin ko, minsan cringe ako, pag nagti-TikTok sila. Medyo… but this must be love,” he joked.
The “Hell University” star added that he appreciates that Bondoc makes an effort to build a relationship with him.
“OK si tito. Nakaka-relate siya sa akin, when it comes to dad issues. Maganda advice, he gives advice. I can see he is really trying to be close to us,” he added.
Yllana stressed that he will always support whatever makes his mother happy—even if it means getting married again.
“Go, maging masaya ka, mommy. Unspoken na ever since dati, pag gusto niya ulit, basta mahal mo at masaya, go. Dati sinasabi niya sapat na kami sa kanya. Pag di naman siya pagpalain. Andito kami, ma,” he said.

As for his own career, Yllana hopes to take on more action projects.
