For the first time, “Miss Q&A” 2018 titleholder Juliana Parizcova spoke about her current relationship with superstar Vice Ganda following their previous "misunderstanding."
In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Parizcova, who is now entering a new era with a new set of teeth and a toned body, revealed that the gap between her and the Unkabogable Superstar has finally been bridged.
“We’re okay. We’re good. I am so happy. Ngayon ko pa lang ito sasabihin na ‘yung nangyari sa amin ni Vice noon ay talagang tapos na. Past is past. Napag-usapan na namin. Answered prayer siya for me. Hindi pa kami nagkikita. Puro lang kami chat,” Parizcova told ABS-CBN News.

Sharing that she was thrilled that Vice had mentioned her name on "It's Showtime" numerous times lately, she continued, “Ever since we’ve been texting. Pero naiintindihan ko naman na hindi agad siya nakaka-reply dahil busy siya.”
“Tapos mine-mention pa rin niya ang name ko sa ‘It’s Showtime.’ Kaya nagpapasalamat ako. Sabi ko, ‘Meme, thank you for mentioning my name kanina sa ‘Miss Q&A.’’ Sabi niya, ‘Deserve mo ‘yan,’” she added.
Despite past "misunderstanding," the “Miss Q&A” 2018 winner expressed her eternal gratitude to Vice, one of the personalities who helped her get a break on television.
“I’m forever grateful dahil siya ang naging way, siya ang nagbigay ng break sa akin sa TV. Napakataba ng puso ni Vice Ganda. More on positivity si Meme. Parang walang nagbago,” she shared with ABS-CBN News.
“Nung pumupunta ako noon sa ‘Showtime,’ sa kanya ako unang pumupunta. Vice Ganda has a big heart. Hindi niya hinayaang magsara ang pintuan naming dalawa,” she added.
As a former titleholder, she also told ABS-CBN News that some aspiring queens have asked her for advice on how to win the crown.
“Kapag may mga kakilala ako na naka-schedule na sasalang sa ‘Miss Q&A,’ talagang nahingi sila ng basbas at payo kung anong dapat gawin. Hindi ko naman ipinagdadamot ‘yun. Lahat ng alam ko kung paano manalo sa ‘Miss Q&A’ ay shini-share ko naman. Hindi ko na lang ipino-post sa social media,” she said.

Will she return to the "Showtime" stage if ever invited? She responded: “Oo naman. Doon ako galing. Doon ipinanganak si Juliana Parizcova kaya okay lang na maging guest judge ako kung maiimbitahan.”
Parizcova is a member of the SMILE organization, which works with Terence Jabatan, lawyer Herman Coloma Jr., and professor Dolores Andres to professionalize the country's live events workforce and advocate for stronger industry standards, skill development, and social protection for project-based and freelance workers.
The organization also aims to raise awareness of people whose livelihoods rely on performances, productions, and other forms of live entertainment.
They also push for more specific standards regarding contracts, working hours, overtime arrangements, compensation, and timely payment.
The group also mentioned occupational safety, citing the hazards associated with rigging, electrical systems, heavy equipment, elevated work, transportation, and overnight event setup and dismantling.
Finally, the group advocates for industry-specific safety guidelines, adequate training, and greater accountability when safety standards are not met.
