Actress Beauty Gonzalez could not hide her pride as her daughter, Olivia Crisologo, made her first-ever runway appearance at the recent charity gala Best Dressed XXIII: Women of the Philippines — Men & Women of Influence.
On social media, Beauty shared a video of 10-year-old Olivia confidently walking down the runway, waving to the crowd and even blowing a kiss to her proud mom.
“First time on the Runway for our not so little 10 year old and we couldn’t be prouder,” the actress wrote.
More than seeing her daughter confidently walk on the runway, Beauty said what made her even more proud was watching Olivia handle herself throughout the entire experience.
“It’s not only the happiness of seeing her gorgeousness strutting down the ramp. It’s more how she handled herself before, during and after the production, watching her take instructions, making new friends, navigating the highs and lows of putting yourself out there for the world to see,” she added.
For Beauty, seeing her daughter have her own moment in the spotlight came with a mix of emotions, especially as she watched Olivia navigate her first major runway experience.
“It’s quite a roller coaster of emotions as you can imagine for a young lady to handle. But she owned it, Did her thing … And today, back to school as if nothing happened.”
“It’s an idle Wednesday morning, And the limelight glows easy on her shoulders. ⭐️,” she expressed.
Olivia and Beauty were among the celebrities who attended the high-profile charity gala, which supports the Philippine Cancer Society. Also spotted at the event were former Miss Universe titleholder Catriona Gray, Martin Nievera, and mother-daughter tandem Priscilla Meirelles and Anechka Estrada.
Following Olivia’s runway debut, several celebrities and fans took to the comments section of Beauty’s post to congratulate the young girl in the comments section.
